Originally burned down in May 2007, Harvelle's Roadhouse was a more than just the local saloon for Central township, Nebraska, but the dream of Bill and Ellen Harvelle after their many years actively hunting down things that go bump in the night. After Bill died in 1995, Ellen and her daughter Jo ran the place as a haven for hunters until it was attacked and set fire to by monsters. Unfortunately, Ellen and Jo died in Carthage, Missouri in 2009 helping the Winchesters stop Lucifer, and the location sat vacant for over a decade. Retiring as Sioux Falls Sheriff in 2020, Jody Mills and her girls moved into Central and rebuilt the Roadhouse, re-opening it in 2021. In essence, Jody has assumed the mantles of Ellen Harvelle and Bobby Singer, running one of the more popular gathering places for American hunters and serving as a switchboard providing cover to hunters posing as all manner of officials during their investigations.
